Further Support for Digital Teaching

Since 2021, TU Graz has had a dedicated part of its statutes describing how virtual teaching and online exams can be organised at TU Graz.

Our TELucation folder and the TELucation website offer numerous articles and guides that help with the practical implementation. Among them are several best-practice articles in which teachers share their experience with digital teaching.

The eCampus is another source of inspiration and ideas: a collection of use cases of digital teaching from different perspectives.

Offers and services of the Educational Technology unit

To support teaching and teachers, the Educational Technology unit (LLT) offers a broad repertoire of services, collected in our folder.

Our offers include internal training (on digital teaching or the TeachCenter) that you can book via TUGRAZonline. They also include TEL coaching, where we look at your teaching individually and develop ideas and solutions together, based on your wishes and requirements.

Twice a year we also host the LLT breakfast: a short presentation of something new from our field, followed by breakfast and conversation.

iMooX – free online courses with an open licence

Since 2013, TU Graz (specifically the LLT unit) has run the Austrian MOOC platform iMooX.at. MOOCs are Massive Open Online Courses: free online courses under open licences that can be reused freely – including in teaching.

You can take the existing MOOCs yourself, use their content in your teaching, and perhaps even apply to become an iMooX fellow.

Or you use the LLT unit’s support and create a MOOC yourself. The moocMAKERmooc teaches you how it works and what to keep in mind.
