CodeRunner is a question type in the TeachCenter (Exam) that allows students to write programme code, which is then graded depending on whether it passes previously defined test cases.

The TU Graz TeachCenter Exam is the exam instance of the TeachCenter.

You can use the Exam Printer to print a quiz created in the TeachCenter (Exam) as a PDF, including a customised cover page, e.g. for an in-person exam. In the process, you can use your existing question bank in the TeachCenter (Exam).

KnowledgeCheckR is an artificial intelligence (AI) based system for knowledge creation, maintenance, distribution and examination.

Gradescope is an exam tool by Turnitin, which allows you to create different kinds of exams and can be used via the TeachCenter Exam. TU Graz offers licences for this tool.

The quiz activity in the TU Graz TeachCenter (Exam) provides the option of holding secure online exams with Safe Exam Browser (SEB). Safe Exam Browser, a separate software, can be used to restrict the access to unauthorised resources such as external apps and websites.

With the „Assignment“ activity, students can upload files directly to the TeachCenter, for example for homework or exams. You can view and grade files directly in the TeachCenter, or download them for offline grading.

Assignments, exams and self-assessments can be carried out directly via the TeachCenter (Exam) and graded directly in the TC (Exam).

You can use the import function to copy content from one TC course in another one. This is useful, for example, for courses that are similar, or courses that take place in the winter and summer semesters and are therefore split between two courses but should remain the same.

With the Offline Quiz activity, you can generate exam papers for paper-based multiple-choice exams in the TeachCenter (Exam). You can also use existing questions from the question bank. The completed exam papers are then scanned, uploaded to the TeachCenter (Exam) and automatically graded.

BigBlueButton and Webex are video conferencing tools that can be used for oral exams, meetings to discuss student submissions, or to supervise written exams.

In TU Graz TeachCenter Exam, students can take online exams. The structure and features of TU Graz TeachCenter Exam are very similar to those of the „regular“ TeachCenter.

At TU Graz, you have the option to take exams and carry out self-assessments with „quizzes“ in the TeachCenter.

Random questions are not a question type, but a way to randomly select questions from a question bank, i.e. a category, and add them to a quiz .

If students do not have a webcam, but proctoring via webcam is planned for an online exam, e.g. exams with KnowledgeCheckR, they can also set up their smartphone as a webcam.
